Join the H.A.Y. website

Can my activity / group be included on the H.A.Y. websites?

H.A.Y. features activities, groups or services in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough that make a positive difference to wellbeing locally, asking only that you pledge your support to our vision: Wherever you live in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, you will have access to the mental health support that you need, when you need it.

If you think this is something your group or activity does and an aspiration you can get behind, we’d love to hear from you. Send us your details by clicking here and completing this form or if you prefer, get in touch by email and we will arrange a chat over the phone or an online or in-person meeting.

What happens next?

We’ll work with you to create a page on your local H.A.Y. website, using the information you provide. You might have already met some of our team – but if not, you can meet us here.

Please send us videos, photos, animations, infographics or other content that will  help people get a really good understanding of what you do and how you do it. What would it be helpful for someone to know the first time they take part in your group or activity? You can send us this as attachments or links.

Our research shows that videos are the most powerful way to break down the barriers and assumptions that prevent people having a go at something new. A taster video showing what you do or introducing your activity or group doesn’t have to look professional…just be you. To get you started, we’ve made a quick video to inspire you – you don’t need fancy equipment, just a smart phone and a smile!

Need our help to make a video? Just ask! We are all about supporting you in all that you do to support others.

Why get involved?

H.A.Y. is more than a listings site; we are all about supporting people to discover and then get involved in local activities that will boost their wellbeing. A page on our website gives people a friendly introduction to your activity, that aims to break down anxieties about trying something new.

We also work closely with professional colleagues across primary care (GP surgeries), specialist mental health services both within the NHS and voluntary sector, and social care teams to keep them updated on activities that might benefit the people they are supporting.
